2070 Max-Q base and boost clocks specs in PCS's notebooks?

I have been trying to ask how the 2070 Max-Q is configured in the laptops PCS offer with no one being able to give me an answer.

FYI, the 2070 MQ can have 2 different base and boost clocks configured by OEMs ( 885-1080mhz or 1185-1305mhz ). I think this is dependent on if the OEM chooses to run an 80W TDP vs 90W.

I find that this information should be made easily available to the consumer as this will have a tangible impact on performance on those already gimped cards this generation.

I hope you can help. Thanks

While I'm at it, am I correct in saying the only laptop with the "full fat" 2070 "laptop" (115W TDP?) version is only available with the Proteus VI?

Can't wait to find out to make the right decision on my new RTX laptop...Cheers

Well i guess now they (some) are out we'll start finding out. I'm expecting proper (non CES hands on) reviews to start appearing soon. That's certainly what i'm waiting for before the money i've had burning a hole in my pocket for 2 months gets spent.

At the moment i'm particularly interesting in the defiance 16.1 but not with the 2080 chip. It seems to be the Clevo P96 chassis, which should take the 2060, the 2070Max-Q and 2080Max-Q. I'd like to see real world comparisions between the 2 before deciding if the large price difference between the chips is worth it especially of the laptop only has a 1080p screen.

Edit, Oh and at the moment the Defiance 16.1 appears to be the only "new" chassis so far, the rest are just putting the 20XX chips into last years chassis'. So however tempting it might be I'm waiting on the new chassis specifically designed for 20XX chips before committing.
