With the power of the latest M4 iPad Pro (which I have in front of me now), I should be able to run the same, native Apple Silicon stuff I have on my Mac Studio, but the stingy RAM limitation means it won't run the same.

Bloody hell, talk about AI overload.

If it really can be fully limited to on device, I don't mind that so much. I don't want to ever share with ChatGPT, so I hope that can be fully disabled.

It was literally all gimmicky stuff, all to do with pointless customisations, shiny AI images and icons, basically none of it was actual new features.

If you ask me, the whole thing is fishy as hell.

If you look at the timeline that Nvidia started really selling out in AI was over the pandemic and then last year this was their stock price figures

That was the end of May 2023

Now who are the ones pushing AI, it's all Google, Microsoft, Apple, it's all the big number people. When you're paying $30,000 PER GPU, I guess you're going to really hope that people want what you're selling!

Who's actually buying it though? It's being forced into services, but aside from stupid pictures and things, who in the personal device world is actually using it in their every day lives?
