I am in the process of buying my 2nd pc from PCS.

Is there a massive difference between the 2 and 4

Theoretically it will make a difference at very high resolutions (4K) or across multiple monitors, but in practice it rarely does because most games aren't able to take advantage of more than 2GB of video memory.

I picked up a 4GB version because it was on sale and the price difference was minimal, in most cases the 2GB version will be fine. There's not much point for "future proofing" either as the card will be redundant before the memory becomes a limiting factor. The only game I know of to max out a 2GB card is a very heavily modded Skyrim.

For ultra high res or multi-monitor gaming it's worth considering to be on the safe side. For 1080p gaming forget it, you'd be wasting your money.
