Hi I will be buying a new laptop in the next month or two, budget is around £1200ish. I mostly watch multiple streams of sporting events (including external monitor), the odd VM, bit of VB, game wise the most demanding game would be RUSE, laptop will be desk bound and only moved around 3 times a year so weight or battery life not an issue.

I think the Optimus V is the one for me, BUT I am a bit concerned (paranoid) about the fan and screen brightness issues.

Would you recommend getting the Optimus anyway (as a future bios will correct this), or spend a bit more and get something like a Skyfire?

I am not much of a gamer, so would the Skyfire be overkill? As the extra USB is the only real benefit I can see.

Can the Optimus power 3 screens? Its own 17” and two monitors via HDMI and VGA?

I am currently using an Acer 5553G, any advice would be appreciated thanks.

The optimus is a great chassis, definitely a good choice.

I don't think you can but for an official response you may want to contact PCS.

Thanks keynes, spec wise look ok?
For what I will be doing more RAM or better CPU wont have any huge effect?
