sorry for the long list but ill take any advice into consideration so i thought posting all of it would be useful.
The laptop will be used a lot for heavy projects programming, design, basically all adobe suite but also for games, and this is the reason i chose this laptop to start with, i love games but i have never been fortunate to have a decent computer for them (right now i play most of my games between 3 and 9fps...i praise the lord every time i see a miraculous 12-14fps haha), sorry for the rant.

is this the best i can make for this price or can i get better for the same price or even cheaper (dreamy me)?
i must say the keyboard is one of the reasons i blinked at this one haha

hoping for your replies and good help, thanks

also windows 7 or 8?
i have never used windows 8 so im unsure about this as well

Putting it bluntly, I think you would be much happier with Windows 7. I say that because the programs (and presumably games) are all for desktop use.

Windows 8 is Metro and touchscreen orientated. To avoid the problems associated with this, modifications and 3rd party programs need to be added (such as Classic shell) to make the desktop work as it should.

Having said that, it is an age thing. If you are young and have grown up with an ipad and touchphone then you may like Win 8 and Metro. I am a bit older (OK, a lot older). I do have Win 8 but don't use it. I still prefer W7 with it's aeroglass and card games even if talking about these as games raises a few eyebrows in the present company.

If that is your only drive then it needs to be larger and a Sata 6 Gb/s.

Which drive would you recommend? or would it be better to get a second one? im also scratching the roof of my budget with the specs i choose so advice would be really appreciated, again thanks for the reply

You could go for the 500GB WD Scorpio Black,it's only about £5 more,or even the 750GB WD Scorpio Black, about £12 more. It's not really essential to have a 6 Gb/s hard disk.
8GB of RAM may well suffice as well if your budget is tight,it's very easy to upgrade in future if necessary.
Also worth considering silver warranty for £5.
