16" Recoil AMD 5070 Ti - Cooling Option?

Hi all,

I am currently building a DTR for game audio development. I will be using a lot of heavy softwares simultaneously (Reaper, Wwise, Unreal).

I was about to pull the trigger on the 16" Recoil, then realised that the Liquid Series cooling is not compatible with the RTX 5070 Ti. Are there plans in future to add this? How come this isn't an option for this GPU?

It is compatible with the 5080, although this is out of my budget. And the only other GPU would be a 4070 on the Ionico (which also doesn't include liquid cooling) - I was hoping to get a 4080 minimum.

After browsing the Forums I've seen that having the liquid cooling is much needed to avoid throttling, so I feel a little bit stuck on what to do now. The older Recoil models have been taken off the website, I can't find an option to buy a 4080/4090 with the liquid cooling any longer.

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Cheers!

Below the 80 tier doesn't require the liquid cooler, obviously the lower tier GPU you go, the less power it requires, hence the less heat generated.

So as per the detailed specifications on the 16" Recoil, these are the power profiles for each GPU

RTX 5090: 150W (Dynamic Boost 25W), RTX 5080: 150W (Dynamic Boost 25W), RTX 5070Ti: 115W (Dynamic Boost 25W)

So it's only the 150W GPU requirements that have a need for the liquid cooler as they're requiring substantially more power and generating more heat.

Thanks for such a quick reply SpyderTracks!

Time to pull the trigger then
