15" Vortex IV won't boot

Was playing titan souls today and my laptop suddenly powered down for no apparent reason. I tried turning it back on again and instead of booting the laptop turned both fans on full speed, the GPU status indicator light turned on and stayed on, the screen did not turn on and then the scroll lock, num lock and caps lock blinked 4 times (in sequence) before switching off again. I know this is the laptop telling me something but I don't know the BIOS code. is anyone able to help me? i'm panicking right now because the laptop contains information vitally important for my college work and i'm not able to afford to replace it if it's a major hardware issue.

I would get it into PCS for a check up, sounds like it may be a motherboard failure.

Your data will be safe on the hard drives, just a case of taking them out and putting them in a caddy or attaching the direct to another PC.

I've looked it up and i think it's possible that the GPU temperature sensor may be gone(if not the GPU entirely) i think since the CPU fan starts up and moves on to the GPU fan after a time i think it's something in the initialization of the GPU that's iffy. i still don't have a clue what the blink code is so this is conjecture. for all i know this is a simple repair involving a loose cord somewhere that i'm not skilled or courageous enough to find.
