95 degrees is hot, and presumably that is under stress testing conditions with the likes of prime 95. Can you link to the review? An i5 wouldn't necessarily run that much cooler under full load, might be slightly cooler but I certainly would be relying on getting a lower spec processor to reduce temps.
Cramming high performance parts into a small chassis is always going to throw out a fair amount of heat, 95 is 'safe' but certainly not where you want to spend all your time. I suspect in the real world the temps would be much if they have used stress testing to achieve those temps.
MX-4 would only drop the temps by a few degrees, perhaps down to 90 vs 95, so while it helps it isn't too much.
