I feel your pain my friend, I am on day 8 of pre-production and my F5 button is starting to wear out!

What have you ordered?

I would give them a call and chase it, just to give them a nudge, sometimes that gets the ball rolling quicker.

I have been informed over live chat that there my order is not held up by lack of parts, they are just very busy.

It should be in production in 2-3 working days so it is looking like I might not even get it next week.

See kids, stay in school and get good grades, it means you can get a better job and earn that little bit more to pay for a priority build!

Through my months of lurking I have seen your posts many times Mantadog. Who would have thought this was all just a long con to build trust so you can bring the whole thing down from the inside?

All this time and my plan was almost coming together - now im the one who is busted :surrender:

If an order still in pre-production today, am I likely to have it by Wednesday?

This is what the phone support said yesterday, but from reading the website and forums it sounds unlikely due to the testing and QC stages.

I know I am in no position to complain as of yet... I'm still in 5th working day on my PC and its still in Pre-Production. However it only spent one day in processing... does that mean the Gaming Gods have favoured my PC? (Please say yes) Just mega excited and can't wait for it to come!

Not necessarily, I'm on 10th working day at the moment and I was in Processing for 1-2 days and Pre Production since. But you never know, you might be lucky!

On 12th working day, still in pre-production, but as my dear old Ma used to say, "Good things come to those who wait". Patience was never a virtue of mine tho.

Lols... was your dear old Ma into gaming laptops? I'm sure she would have said something different if she was :)

im afraid i am in the same boat. to my understanding about trading acts; when buying on line you enter into an agreement that states, at the time of purchase, the time given is the time they have to send your item you have bought from them, even if it is a estimated time as they use.

now a estimated time does not give a seller the right to take longer than said estimated time. If the estimated time is broke then by the trading act 2013 the seller must send item "due haste" how ever they do have 30days MAXIMUM to send out a item under acceptable circumstances. Being busy is not an acceptable circumstance at all.

I, for one, had the estimated time of 9-11 days, so that covers all steps involved with the service. From processing too delivery, how ever I'm looking at a longer time. I had no up date in this situation (as customer have the right to be updated with changes to their order, another trading act) and when ringing up to enquire the company "PCS" clearly does not know how an estimated time works. Using estimated and approximates even though they are the same thing.

i was told over the phone that when your estimated date has been reached (and this was buy a manager) i should receive a email to inform me that the estimated time has been pasted. How ever PCS are reluctant to even do anything, as they believe they cannot do anything to help the matter. how ever they are braking their agreement.

to also make people aware, their terms and conditions do state they work with estimations and have 30 days to get the order out to you UNDER ACCEPTABLE CIRCUMSTANCES but; an estimation as defined; is a time scale in which something may take to be done i.e. 9-11 days, from the first day to the 9th day allowing till the 11th the latest. Fast tracking is not garnered they stated, even the fast tracking service can be extended. which isn't acceptable as its a priority service, a payed extra premium and is there to make the selected order into your possession quicker.

I'm pretty sure all this waiting and confusion of "when is my order going into production", "how long is it actually going to take" would be ironed out with a better system to the production. Even the smallest of updates into them being busy and communicating with their customers would even be Sufic in some cases.

Maybe they're just a lot busier than usual, I don't see a lot of threads like this. I'm on 11th working day (so the top end of the estimate, which was 9 to 11 working days) and there hasn't been any sign of any movement.

As I mentioned earlier I did phone up last Thursday and was told I'd probably have it by this Wednesday, which is looking unlikely and the main source of my disappointment as opposed to the overall time spent waiting.

It would be interesting to see where we are in the queue, if there is one.

Wouldn't acceptable circumstances be a matter of interpretation? My understanding is that reaching the 30 (working days?) is going to happen under acceptable circumstances and less than 30 days wouldn't be affected by it but I may be wrong
