Hi there,
I own a Recoil II 17" laptop (Tongfang gk7cp7s) and the charging port got loose. I'm out of warranty. Can't find the part anywhere online.
Is there any chance PcSpecialist can provide me with the part or can someone point me in the right direction where to find the part ?
Thank you...
Its been over 6 weeks since my laptop return status changed to "RMA received". I didn't get a single update regarding my repair. Exchanged few pointless emails with customer service and gave up calling them after two 30 min waits trying to get through.
I'm really disappointed with my...
They repaired it alright.
9 months later same thing happened. Been waiting since beginning of June to have it collected. I lost count how many times courier didnt show up.
Cant wait to have it back and sell it to end this nightmare.
They lost a client and probably few potential buyers among...
Im the owner of the video.
Ive sent it back and they said it was a bad EDP connection on the motherboard so they replaced the motherboard.
Today exactly the same thing happened :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Im glad it is under warranty indeed.
This issue combined with a CPU that turns into a frying pan while gaming which causes thermal throttling really makes me regret my purchase.
I didnt like the slim chassis from day one. Now I know it was a mistake.
I have had MSI and Asus gaming laptops...
While I was gaming this happened.
The screen started flashing like a strobe light.
Plugged the laptop through HDMI to my TV and the image on TV screen is fine.
So definitely a hardware issue with the screen.
Requested a RMA on Saturday. The laptop is 6 months old. :(
There are two flexible aluminium elements fixed to the motherboard and glued to the heatsink. I had to pry them of the heatsink and then it came off no problem.
There is also a screw under number 1. Number 2 is exact same silver aluminum as no1 just covered with black plastic.
Unfortunately...
Hi,
I have managed to finally remove the heatsink on my own.
The tech guy who couldnt help me on Saturday emailed me on Monday saying that they dont have any manuals or pictures to help me...
btw I have never seen such a messy thermal paste job in my life, it was all over the place
Just got off the phone with tech support. In a nutshell the guy couldn't help me because its Saturday😑 😤 and he doesn't have access to the manuals.
really ?
How come we don't have online access to the kind of stuff ? That should be available in our download section.
I tried to take off the heatsink to apply new thermal paste, removed all the obvious screws but it still wouldn't come off.
Are there any screws that I could have missed that are not visible, covered ???
