Bit of an update on this. The drivers update solved the connection problem but..... ....my internet connection goes down whenever I backup data (via usb port using either a Window Back up to a usb stick or Western Digital Backup to their 'Book' external drive). Any ideas on fixing this one...

Sorry - I was wrong, I've just had a look at the back of the case and there are two antennae. Sorry about that. Thank you very much for the driver link - I'll try it in the morning.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've run various updates. It didn't come with an antennae, but the unit is setting right next to the router. I might give tech support a call as the pc is only a few months old so I'm not keen to shell out for a new card if it is indeed hardware failure.....
