Thanks man. I wasn't sure which graphics cards are the best to go for. What I don't want to do is buy something I don't need because I don't stream and never utilise it. I can always pull it out in a couple of years and replace it.
Are the Ti variants worth waiting for? I could build something...
Update - most of my wife's work will be on a work laptop so the only essentials are gaming and memory.
Also we have a child so a high end quiet case would be good.

-examples of the top spec reqs are Skyrim, Borderlands 2 and other 2011/12 releases.
