I read that error as the speakers aren't physically plugged in, so would require you opening the laptop and plugging the connectors to their respective places on the motherboard
Are there any known fixes or similar replacement components that can be swapped out to fix it without an RMA?
Unfortunatly it isnt one of the upgrade/replacement parts they offer from the personal orders page
Hello again! I've made it a whole just over 2 years without an issue following my previous 4 RMAs :D
So, spec:
Chassis & Display
Recoil Series: 15.6" Matte Full HD IPS 144Hz 72% NTSC LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i7 Six Core Processor 8750H (2.2GHz, 4.1GHz Turbo)...
Unlikely, yet... not impossible :p
I was just nosing through the forums looking for something completly unrelated and saw this thread-necro.
@jeakejeakejeake
The issue was resolved following I think it was 2 or 3 RMAs all in all.
The issue on two occasions were similar, a burned out ribon...
I may have to agree with you on that.
I have now tried all sorts of combinations of drivers from the same as the other recoil II, to the most up-to-date from both intel and nvidia, and the problem still persists with easily another 15 (probably more) BSODs as above since I made that post.
Again...
Hello again! (again from my old laptop which seems more reliable)
So, just a quick catch up. My previous issues with the Recoil II and sudden power loss were resolved via RMA where they ended up replacing my motherboard and power cable because of a power delivery issue and cable burn out. I...
I sent the laptop back under RMA and have had it back probably about a month now with the issue resolved.
It turned out to be a hardware issue with the motherboard having a power delivery problem and my power cable had burnt out. Both were replaced and I have not had a re-occurrence of that...
I might have been jumping the gun a bit thinking the CPU was being the issue there... I think sonik14 might have hit the nail on the head.
I re-read this quote, (on battery power) opened up firefox and watched a video on youtube. Noticed firefox runs on the iGPU. Closed firefox. Opened Nvidia...
Quick update, and also to add an addition to the thread for PC Specialist.
I have my laptop back following the last RMA with the issue above, and have been playing games on it with no issue, whilst it was plugged in.
Rather frustratingly, I tried to play a game this morning, on battery power...
Quick addition to this. Again this morning I have unplugged my laptop, started a game and the power has just cut out. (for a 4th time now)
This time with active cooling on the power plan.
Similar thing happened. CPU dropped to ~800MHz. The multiplier seems to get stuck on x8.
Still no issue with...
Good Day/Night
Unfortunatly I am not having the smoothest experiance with my Recoil II post production and post RMA.
I have encountered an issue which greatly affects the laptops performance.
Whilst plugged in, the laptop performs as expected, good frame rates in games, handles multuple...
So recently I got a Recoil II. Had a couple of issues, sent it back, got it sorted and now have the laptop back.
Current spec:
Chassis & Display
Recoil Series: 15.6" Matte Full HD IPS 144Hz 72% NTSC LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i7 Six Core Processor 8750H (2.2GHz...
Hey,
So I recently ordered a laptop which arrived yesterday. Opened the box, all good all happy.
Only problem is the OS has been installed onto the wrong hard drive.
The setup is basically Windows 10
1st M.2 SSD Drive 256GB (which is empty)
2nd M.2 SSD Drive 512GB (OS etc...)
Is there any...
Since getting an optimus v (about a year and a couple of month ago) the fan has been amazing, silent, and when it does spool up, it was never as loud or noisey as some of the reviews back then made it sound, it was what i expected of a laptop while gaming.
The past couple of weeks the fan has...
No question marks, and i figured out the Hotkey control center thing, but no matter what profile I chose the CPU wont go above 1.4GHz on battery
Also the bluetooth is disabled (I did that so i know about it)
So, i tried to open the NVIDIA GeForce Experience program and BSOD. of which i managed to get a picture on my phone, but it also left a log file behind.
I think that's the zip, originally names 'zip1'
It seems to be being caused by 'System Interrupts' looking at the recourse manager. It's constantly using around 12% of CPU, with is roughly 100% of 1 of the cores. and a quick google search showed that it has cause this problem for other people on other laptops. (I had already set to view all...
I know right? I'm hungry now >.>
I restarted my laptop, and right now it is doing the 100% thing on a core.
Also it's running on battery, or USB or peripherals attached at start up or anything currently and as you can see it's clocked at 1488MHz and wont go any higher, even if i mess with...
