OK thanks. Not sure I understand the point that "The 7950X3D is just a 7800X3D + a 7700X"... All this is quite new to me.

This obviously came back into stock (7800X3D) and I missed it. Now not there till around the 20th November and my sons birthday is on the 28th. What would you think is a next best option?

That's just for the PC, but again if I need to go to £2k i will do. Not sure I want to buy an entire new set up in <12 months when its not up to scratch, but a build that I can upgrade over time would be helpful
