    Thanks guys that's very helpful. So basically for the sake of £160 I assume it'd be a smarter choice to go for the 1440p option? If so that's not a problem I can wait a couple of months to get the budget up to £1400.

    Hi there, I'm looking for a build for as close to £1000 as possible. Will only be used for gaming. Already have a monitor Acer Nitro VG270UP 2560 X 1440 and 144Hz. I have no clue what I'm I'm looking at when building a machine so any suggested builds would be great. Thanks.
