5900x on a asus B550f mobo with Corsair vengeance 4X 8gb 3600MHz. I forgot to post my test results here, it appears that my model of ram wasn't on the mobos manufacturers list of compatible ram, lower speeds were, but not my 3600MHz. Since lowering the clock speed in Bios it's been running...
Ahhhh I see, you're between a rock and a hard place then, you have 3 options that I can think of, 1st patience which is easier said than done, 2nd amend order to CPU only and source a gtx 1000 or 1600 series GPU and sell it when you can get your hands on the latest series GPU, 3rd try and get a...
As far as I know ( I've been following this thread from the beginning and this is what other users have reported), there are 2 things that I'm not sure they have rectified since their ordering system wasn't designed for the extreme lack of stock availability, firstly it appears that both items...
If you can find out the model number you can check it for compatibility.
These are currently the supported Corsair 16gb.
I'm going to be keeping my set and run it at the lower speed till theres a bios update which should hopefully be in the next few months. Your set may not have any issues 🤞 ...

Hi all, just an update, after doing some memory tests tonight I found that the reason for my instability and the problems seem to be that the ram clock speed was too fast for the mobo or just...
Found on another thread here that it could be instability of having 4 sticks of 3600mhz ram on a Asus b550 board. I'll test tonight and if it is the issue I'll let you all know incase you want to amend your orders🤞

Standard use fine, but when trying to play a game such as bfv or dying light I get a GPU spike and a driver crash, generic driver error message in event log, I'm going to run a memory test tonight. What's your theory?

Got my pc on Tuesday, 5900x with no GPU and having some issues with it:cry: when ever I try playing a game such as bfv I get a GPU spike and a driver crash, ruled out the drivers, OS, bios and graphics card, the psu and cabling seems to be correct. Im going to do a memory test tonight but I feel...
Yes you can, its usually sent by DPD, the only down side is they charge to "upgrade delivery" I think it cost me £5 to have it delivered in a certain time slot, choices were 8.30-10, 10-12, 12-6, and I think I saw that the Saturday delivery was a £10 charge but could be wrong
If it helps anyone I've been using https://www.stockinformer.co.uk/checker-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3080-3070-3090 to see what's about, 86 days... You're patience is far far superior than mine
If there's a big delay because of the 3070 you might be better off removing it and trying to source it yourself, I managed to pre order a 3080 by using a stock alerter on discord, took a lot of attempts before I managed to nab one before the bots got them
They must have had a decent shipment of the 5900x's then to clear up 2 weeks of orders.. happy gaming (ps out of curiousity what GPU are going to be running)
To help with people judge their ETA's, 5900x no GPU went into build today, 44 days in, for the people that have placed their orders more recently I don't think it will take as long as I hope that the wait was due to the Christmas shortages (and Brexit) and that PCS will be having more regular...
That gives me hope then, I'm 35 days 5900x and no GPU (got a 3080 on pre-order from some where else that will hopefully be fulfilled next month).
Side question- when you get your pc does it come with the extras from the building process? I.e fittings, component manuals (not needed but just...
