I'm sorry to read of the issues you've been experiencing.
I certainly would welcome you posting more info here and we can help you work the problem and potentially even give more ideas of things to try in the hopes of remedying or more accurately pinpointing any potential cause of the issue(s)...
Hey,
Depending on the age of the machine PCS could probably help with an RMA if you're not confident in rooting about inside yourself. Do you have the specs from your order page (on main PCS site)?
Most desktops now are very easy to access via the side panels etc. Push come to shove though if...
I've only tried it a few times at work and I don't like it currently, there are a few QOL things I would like implemented before I try and get too far into it (really basic stuff that doesn't really affect anything but .. its how I like things). Most of the issues I have with it from a user POV...
Just FYI don't quote the post when reminding folk as your quote also contains the windows key and this wasn't edited out by whomever deleted it earlier this morning.
Inadvertent of course but easy fix :)
The original owner can transfer ownership of the laptop and any remaining warranty via PCS to you and you should absolutely request that they do this. It'll mean PCS will be able to help you now and in the future.
Did you see (or hear I guess) it all working before you bought it?

I lightly edited your post to remove the unnecessary spacing, hope you don't mind.
What is your budget for the laptop?
I'd remove the Norton as its effectively useless, Windows Defender is perfectly fine for almost all home uses.
I'd consider going for at least Silver warranty and adding the...
Hi,
Have you checked to see if your cooler is plugged into the mobo correctly both mechanically onto the cooling plate and also electronically for the fan control?
Might need to be removed, cleaned and replaced if there's been some degradation of thermal paste for example.
If you're not...
@shaunpomfrett, the first thing you need to do is decide whether you are going to look at upgrading your existing PC (https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/forums/threads/upgrade-help.98322/#post-752460) or a buying a new PC (this thread).
I'm happy leaving the threads seperate currently, but once a...

Hey what is the budget for this machine (helps with any alterations folk might want to suggest).
There is a helpful list of common questions here (you've answered a fair few already in your post)...
