Will download ICUE and try to mess about with the fan speed settings.

Can anyone recommend a good metrics overlay to help me monitor this in game without being too bulky.
Came installed with win 10 home, drivers and win 10 fully updated.
haven't tried ICUE first as wanted to ask advice before manually messing about with it. Mounted top horizontal

Hey Guys,
Had my new PC for about 2 months now. I'm really chuffed with it but I'm having a slight noise issue.
I have the Corsair H100x Hydro Cooler w/ PCS Ultra Quiet Fans, and honestly there is nothing 'Ultra Quiet' about it. I have paired it with a Ryzen 5800X. I know that CPU runs very...
Hi ubuysa,
Please note that in my reply I stated "I too would like to know the answer to this exact question!"
With emphasis on the word "exact" I stated that I wished to know the answer to this user's question as well, rather than pose my own. I wrote this so that I could bump this user's...
I dont yet have one yet. I don't have anything capable of running VR. I am literally moving up from an old i5 laptop with a GTX 950m. Not much going for it at all. Was thinking one of the Occulus models.
Gaming, anything from RPG to VR and Flighg Simulators. Quite keen to break into VR to be honest. As for monitor, I haven't really decided, it's budget associated. I must confess i don't know much about common resolutions and refresh rates. I've been out of the game for a long time. Last time I...
So ideally my budget is around the £1400 mark (ish). For reference (so you can understand where I'm coming from) I can and was looking to get a laptop with following spec: i7 9750H, RTX 2060 (Mob), 16gb 2666mhz RAM, 512gb m.2 SSD with 1tb HDD 7200 RPM (and with Thunderbolt 3). All that for £1350...
I priced up how much something similar would cost me direct from PCS and I'd be paying about £350 more. And I'm not seeing any difference in what Currys and PCS have stated they use.
Hey guys, looking at getting this from currys:

It's a PC specialist build that they sell. All good info except they dont tell...
Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated. I'm leaning more towards the Vyper as the Thunderbolt 3 will allow me to setup an eGPU.
A few questions about that though.
1. If I'm doing this would there be any point in getting the 2070 over the 2060?
2. Would that actually reduce thermal load...
Hey guys,
My first post here so bare with me.
I'm trying to decide between the 17.3 inch Optimus Pro and the Vyper for a gaming build.
So the basic builds would be as follows:
Optimus Pro:
i7 10750H processor
16gb 2666mhz Ram
RTX 2060 6GB Graphics
512gb 2000mbs m.2 SSD
1tb 2000mbs m.2 SSD...
