My sons PC has been delivered today (thanks PCS). He won't be getting it till the 12th though (his 18th).
He now needs a good monitor on a maximum budget of £200. He would like a 27" LED if possible.
We have looked at this one.
Any recommendations you may have would be very welcome...

I have Intel Rapid Storage Technology on my PCS machine. It is V 11.0.0.1032 on a Win 7 64 bit PC.
I think there is a newer version available and wondered:
1) Is it worth updating,

Got this error a couple of times tonight:
The device, \Device\Ide\iaStor0, did not respond within the timeout period.
With two SSD's in Raid 1 (Mirror) seems a little odd. the second event when the PC was switched on and left idle for about 30 mins before the error message.
Any suggestions...
One quick question...
The Disk activity light seems to be very active on my new PC with no additional programs running, I would estimate one or two flashes per second.
Is this normal and would it contribute to read-writes of the SSDs?
Thanks
Martyn
My proposed PC has now entered the testing stage, hope they give it what for to make sure it functions on arrival.
