I'm thinking of getting 15.6" COSMOS IX, but seeing as it has a small battery size, just wanted to double check that it has nvidia optimus technology, so it could last longer on integrated intel gpu.
So it looks like the 1080 gpu has borked on my octane, it looks like this and won't recognise any external monitors anymore (not hdmi not dp)
While I sort out it with pcspecialist support, I was wondering if there's any way at all to enable the integrated intel card on it, just so I could work...
I've heard that some older laptops weren't compatible with Vive/Oculus due to them having Optimus (Intel GPU hybrid mode).
Is this the case with Octane III with GTX 1080 or it does work with VR headsets?
From the specs people posted about their 17.3 Octane III, I've seen that a lot have 4K screens.
But currently there's no option to pick 4K screen in the configurator. Is it just the case of it being out of stock?

DELL's customer support was always useless blaiming me for dropping the laptops (which I never did) or saying that tear and...
