Might be worth looking at this,
The Recoil 17" corresponds with the Neo 17, and the USB drop-out issues sounds the same as yours which is caused by a missing thermal pad on the PCH.
I've been having the same problem, same errors on event viewer.
I've sent PCS a message via support tab to see if they are aware of the issue and if they have a fix or will be releasing a fix when one is available. Hopefully, we hear something about this soon.
