10 days into my current order and I'm just considering whether it may be worth upgrading further as I have the budget to potentially take it further. Would upgrading CPU from 5 5600x to 7 5800x, along with then an updated cooler below make a big difference to the machine? It works out around...

Very tempted to do the same, but jump from 5 5600x to the 7 5800x.

Put it this way mate I ordered my PC on 2nd of Feb, if I ordered it again today it would cost me £150 more. Crazy cost fluctuations at the minute it seems.

That's a worst case scenario at this stage I would think. Recent posters in this thread have been waiting around 25 days or so, but I suppose it's also dependent on other stock issues like CPU.

Give them a call. Some users said that you can ask to switch over the phone and they'll keep your place in the queue - both CPU's are in stock atm I think so shouldn't cause too much extra delay.

Yeah this seems to be the only place I can see it in stock too - looks to be collection only. Seems to be available to collect in a good few around me (South London).

Another 18 days to go for me if working to that rough timeline!

Same here, luckily the 5600x is now back in stock so imagine it'll only be the GPU which holds it up for us, however, looking like around 20-25 days for most people. Fingers crossed!

The price in general is mad. I ordered my PC on the 2nd, to order it now again today it's already £80 more expensive.

Judging by the past month or so, it's looking like an average of around 24 working days or so - but this will largely depend on what CPU you've gone for also. Hopefully stock levels pick up over the next few weeks and our orders get moving!

What CPU have you ordered? I see the 5600x is no longer on pre-order which is a big plus!

That Micke looks pretty smart in black. Agree with the above though, might not be deep enough especially with a curved monitor.

Yeah it's a bit stupid really, kinda the equivalent of paying for a meal and before it arrives phoning the chef to remove the onions, only for him to say you need to now pay extra as the cost of the original ingredients have gone up.

I'm getting the same thing when I click on amend order. It starts at £18.00 without me actually changing anything - I think it could be due to the OS price seemingly have increased since time of ordering, that's the only thing I can think of.

You also waiting on the 5600x? Or just the GPU?

Try day 3 of processing. Refreshing the order page every few hours in the hopes of a miracle. Godspeed to you, sir.

I'd have to presume it was a free gift to compensate the delays... how nice of him!
