Based on the issues PCS have had with the Tong-Fang Chassis I would recommend steering clear of the Ionico range - I am curreantly RMA my Vyper 17.3" due to the issue with battery only - (forum post in technical) - Defiance would be the one i would be recommending for sure
Had another response after asking for it to be escalated.
I think I been pretty fair as I have said I would take a Replacement (not of the same model) but same specifications etc. As I am happy to give them another opportunity due to this being more of a Tong-Fang issue.
Again will keep people...
I would be happy with a replacement Laptop - Obviously just not a Tong-Fang as i have been put off the Chassis now. - will keep people posted on how this one goes
I am still waiting for a further response to the first message i had from them. Once i have that i can proceed further, but as it stands i am left in the dark. I have a feeling that we are going to have to push this constantly to get anywhere.
Thanks for the advice. I have had it since end of September early October.
I will do what you have said and escalate it to the complaints department and link in this whole thread
The thing is they have admitted there is a issue they cannot fix, and several people have been given refunds yet that's the response I've been given.
Awful customer service and such a generic reply since I copied Chris messages into the message I sent them
This is the response I've been given any advice. Disappointing as I copied Chris post etc into the email.
First and foremost, thank you for getting in touch with us and for your patience with this reply.
I am sorry to hear that the laptop is not fit for purpose.
Please note on battery...
I dont understand how they can continue to offer it currently.
Removing it for the time being would be much better than continuing to sell something that isn't fit for purpose.
Agreed Chris has obviously done as much as he can as PCS, Tong Fang have done what they are willing to do currently based on Chris's last reply so we have to put this down to Tong Fang not supplying a fit for purpose product. Im sure PCS will do right by all people effected by this who will be...
Pretty good point, but I would imagine they will be looking at getting money back from TongFang somewhere down the line as this could potentially cost them a lot of money so it may well just be a tick box exercise on each laptop that comes back for when they go back to them for there money back...
Only just came across this post which is really disappointing - I own the Vyper and was looking through the forums as the un-plugged performance is terrible and now i know why - I have also sent a email into customer service as i need the laptop to perform to a decent level without it being...
