I can go up to around 1900 I'd say.
My thoughts on 32gb are just based on decades of photoshop. Basically with evcery new PC I've increased the ram. 4 years ago I built with 16gb and it's still ok but will it be in 3 years?
Well, of course, I'm not going to put odds like those over time :) start of feb is "nice" but my existing pc will last just fine. If someone recommends me something that is sensible, in budget and decent then yes, timelines can slip.
I've been told that the 2 processors below the AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT are "just as good for the price". Thought on the cheaper ones? They seem to be about 50 quid less.
Ok interesting, what would be a good AMD replacement? Looking at the AMD section I realise I genuinely don't know enough.
The monitor, as said, is: Razer Raptor 27inch. I believe hte C is needed to control teh lights, nothing more. But I may as well use it.
Hi all, I posted a few months ago about buying a new pc, but time goes on and some things change so I thought I'd post again.
Basically I'm after a new PC. It's primary uses are games and photoshop. I've come up with this:
Case

Processor (CPU)
Intel®...
Ah, sorry, lets say 1500-2000 and waiting a few days or a month is fine. Thanks!
I was suprised 16gb ram is still the norm - 4 years ago it was the biggest change, from 8gb. I figured we'd all be on 32 now :)
Hi all,
I bought my last PC from here, 4 years ago now. It's basic specs are:

Memory (RAM)
16GB HyperX SAVAGE DDR4 2666MHz...
Hi there, looking for some advice.
I have a 3 year old PCspecialist desktop and although I've replaced bits and pieces, it's time to upgrade the ram, but I'm very unsure of what type to buy? I have:
Motherboard ASUS® P8H61-MX USB3/SI: uATX, USB 3.0, SATA 3.0Gb/s
Memory (RAM) 4GB SAMSUNG...
yeah I have tried the upgrade thing, unfortunately, when selected the ram field doesn't populate:
but yeah, can give them a call see what they offer.
cheers
Hi there, I hope I'm posting in the correct forum.
I've had my PC for about 1.5 years, it came with 4gb ram and I'm thinking of adding more. According to my order summary, it is:
4GB SAMSUNG DUAL-DDR3 1333MHz
I was looking for advice as to how best to do this. Should I replace that ram with...
