The configurator has a message saying the fractal north case doesn’t support top mounted 240mm AIO with rgb ram, So I suppose a good change would be to swap to non rgb ram and a better cpu cooler? Can anyone suggest tweaks to the spec along these lines? Thanks

Thankyou for that Tony, it is much appreciated. One of the deal breakers for me was having to go to the XL case. I was really hoping it could be made to work in the standard size fractal north case. But by the sounds of it I will have to chose between rtx4080/RX 7900 XT and the case.

Thanks for that, yes I think I would like to avoid that headache of potential cpu failure! If you could suggest a spec around that budget it would be appreciated. And yes, I think I would prefer the rtx4080 as long as it fits the fractal north case with room for the required cooling etc

PC matches the ideal spec for flight sim 2024. Will be using for racing sims and other gaming
