Unfortunately the only other monitor uses vga cables which my pc doesn't support.

Sent for an RMA for the monitor. Though while the monitor clearly had a problem. When it was connected to the console or blu-ray player, it still displayed the screen (albeit all pixelated and fuzzy) but with the pc it was just black. Part of me is wondering if that means there's another...

Just to clarify, I first switched the DP to different ports on the PC and monitor. Then I disconnected the monitor from the pc entirely, save the power cable and connected it with my console. The monitor looked like in the image earlier. Replaced the DP cable with the hdmi from the console...

I'd need to check but there should be. I only got it four months ago. So is the issue likely the monitor itself and that's why the pc was beeping? Edit: Still under warranty.

Yeah, had to give up. Couldn't get it to unlock. So, should I get an RMA again?

Still trying to remove GPU. All that's left is the catch but it's mostly covered by the GPU itself, so it's proving pretty difficult.
