Steveyg and Martinr36 - many thanks for you advice and input. You've saved me a good £500 and I'm much happier that I'll have a PC that best suits my needs :D:D

That's a fair point, so you just drag and drop games you stop playing as much onto an external USB hardrive? And then only games you actively play are on the 1TB SSD?

That's excellent, many thanks for the information. I have one final question... and its about the Intel 670p and 1TB vs 2TB for gaming. My Xbox One S has a 1TB external HDD that is almost full with only a handful of games on it. Is it worth swapping in a 2TB HDD instead so I have enough...

That's really helpful thank you, also the Gigabyte monitor looks good. I'm guessing things like the 1,000W PSU means the build is future proof for future GPU upgrades? Also can I ask the reasoning behind the SSD's you selected (happy to go with your recommendations, just would be nice to know...

My only reason against looking for 4k monitors has been the price of them at the moment :D Are there any you are aware of that's reasonably priced?

The inspiration for 240hz was mainly because I am tempted by the Samsung G7 that can reach such a high refresh rate. As you say, 144hz is already good... but was more a case of if the monitor can do it why not. I guess an amazing 1440p 144hz monitor would be cheaper than the Samsung G7?

Thank you for your response, and many thanks for tweaking the configuration. In terms of monitor I am not sure, I have read some good things about the LG 21:9 ultra-wide screen although this is not true 4k. I am torn between investing in a monitor that has a 4k display, or a ultrawide screen...

Hey everyone, I am looking to order a pre-built PC suitable for gaming - preferably at 1440p using high graphic settings. The "BATTLEFIELD ELITE" pre-configured PC stands out to me, and from my limited knowledge looks like it could run basically any game in high/ultra settings without much...
