The AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor will be released on March 12, 2025. It is a 16-core processor with Zen 5 and 3D V-Cache architecture.
Maybe hang on till that is released.

So basically I've been putting money away for the last year and a half and i'm finally at a point where I can afford a big old upgrade on my current 1080ti system.
I'm wanting to get a 5090/9800x3d build but all i'm seeing is a ton of negativity online for the 5090...
Hi @steaky360 Budget is about what you see £2k-ish and yeah gaming is my primary use. You had me confused for a second lol with the 1080p monitor comment, the IIYAMA G-MASTER GB2760QSU-B1 27" is a 1440p 144hz monitor and will be my primary monitor.
The Graphics card you will notice is blank, this is because I already own a 1080ti which I will be using.
