It happened! My order arrived today! Standard 3080, ordered on 5th October - so 76 working days was my final record.
I'm letting it temperature acclimatise before I do anything... that was a general thing people on this thread said they were doing a while back, right?
I ordered 5th October with a standard 3080 and an AMD 5600 CPU, which I suspect isn't as much a "problem" component as the higher ones in that CPU range, so I'm probably a good barometer for where the orders for "normal" 3080 orders are at. Mine went into building this week, around the 71/72...
Well, I ordered on the 5th of October, and yesterday was indeed the day I got the email saying MY PC WAS GOING INTO BUILD! So that information seems correct!
Good lord, the joy I felt upon reading that email. I let the feeling wash over me for several minutes.

Just come off the phone with PCS... it seems now my motherboard (ROG Strix X570-I Gaming - it's mini-ITX) is out of stock... got the email to say it was out of stock on the 18th of December, only just called today 'cause of Christmas... but it's weird as that mobo had been part of my order since...
Good to hear! Sounds like there's a few of us who had the same idea, which makes sense given how super duper these new CPUs are supposed to be.
