Maybe someone can configure a PCS desktop here suitable for VR ? The graphics card ( GPU ) is the most important part of a VR desktop computer. I think without a monitor your looking at £1650 , so maybe £1800 Inc a 24" monitor. That's with an I5 CPU and 3080 ti based graphics ( GFX) card . Q...

Thanks. There's a 3d scene (in Povray ) I've been testing new desktops /laptops with for a long time . Since 2002 I think. Tried yesterday , it rendered in two mins. This system is fast ! I remember that scene taking 20 mins to render 20 years ago.

Just a bit of info I found out last month. With the Corsair MP400 drives the performance varies according to size . The fastest are the 4 & 8TB drives. Followed by the 2TB . Then the 1TB . So whatever drives you go for chk performance relative to size . It's always good to have multiple...

Got it ,that makes sense. I knew this as in the past to buy a Windows OEM disc for £50-70 less than RRP ( if memory serves ), you had to buy hardware with it . But seeing many motherboards over £300, I thought could this include an oem version of Windows ? Thanks for the reply 👍
