Thanks for the advice guys. The gpu support arm was hardly offering any support to the gpu so I think once the fans spun up, the noise was the gpu vibrating against the arm. I managed to adjust the arm & it seems OK now 👍👍👍
thanks, I can confirm the rattling is when the GPU fans spin up, once they get to around 1200+ RPM it starts making a racket - how does I adjust that arm please?
Thanks, that makes a lot of sense as the noise doesn't kick in for a while when first switched on. Once it's been on for 30+ mins approx, the rattling kicks in every starts 5-10 minutes or so.
Thanks for the help and taking the time to reply. I've decided to return it for a refund.
For £2000+ its more trouble than its worth and I don't want to be fiddling about with a brand new PC myself, as it may void the warranty.
As the saying goes you only get one chance to create a good first...
As this is an intermittent noise I doubt its a cable rubbing on a fan?
What foam inserts are you talking about? I don't see any? See attached photos pls
New PC arrived today - Odin R80, cost £2000+ - very disappointed, intermittently making a very loud rattling noise, not sure if its a fan or the water cooler. Happens about every 5 or 10 minutes or so under hardly any load at all. Not gaming, video processing or performing any resource heavy...
