Good suggestion, thanks. Unfortunately i dont think i will have the opportunity to upgrade next year due to other commitments. However im generally happy with playing at 1080p anyway, so if i can get about 3 years out of 7800xt and then upgrade then that would work for me.

Perhaps i have a misconception of liquid/AIO coolers. I dont know much about them and generally think that if something goes wrong with them it could cause bigger problems for the system than if air cooler goes faulty.
