I pretty much built the same system as you with a different case. CPU, GPU, Mobo, PSU, Cooler, NVME SSD were all the same.
Now where i made different choices was
First, the monitor. I went with Dell S2417DG. It's basically the twin of S2716DG, only a bit smaller. But hey it was €110 cheaper and...
Hey how about this one. So all this time, ever since the Ryzen 3000 series has been launched, the CPUs were bundled with 3 months of Xbox game pass, the day I order my build, they were not showing up. I thought to myself, oh all right the promotion must be over, cool. Lo and behold, now the...
Anybody has experience with that? PCS has saved my configuration so for the past week I'd just visit the website and marvel at the build. Every day I'd notice the total price of the system would fluctuate +-€20, which I was completely fine with. That fact didn't play any part into my decision...
There is a 23.8 inch version of the same monitor. It's practically the same thing in a smaller frame
The model name is: Dell S2417DG
1400p@165Hz, gysnc etc. There is probably a freesync version as well
Got my pc ordered, picked out the monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.
The last piece of the puzzle is GREAT set of headphones.
It's purely for indoor use, no portability or aesthetically pleasing looks necessary.
"Gaming Headphones" are probably overpriced, can't imagine there is anything value...
Well you're getting a laptop with i7-8750H. The new gen i7-9750H has been out since the end of april. So I don't know if it's actually too cheap, but if it is, that'd be because PCS are trying to clear their stock out.
Well look, I'm not eloquent or have the knowledge to make my own argument, so I'm just gonna copy-paste a comment from reddit thread that made a lot of sense to me, Here it goes:
Could you elaborate on that a little please.
Two questions here: How do you know the stock paste is corsair branded?
and more importantly, why would there be a less concern about a poor paste job. Isn't it the same group of PCS employees that apply the paste every time? I'm ordering a build...
Why not 3800x? Isn't it supposed to be better binned cpu. The way I've seen it explained is, for pure gaming it's between 3600x and 3800x,that's it. Most reviewers got 3700x and 3900x, so there is a lot of data on them, but i feel like those 2 (3600x and 3800x) are going under the radar a...
Gooooood point. I was actually looking through the product page of 460x on corsair's website and I noticed it doesn't list the h115i Pro in the list of compatible coolers. Multiple echoing Uh-ohs went through my head. Then I saw your comment and it all clicked straight away.
It's official...
Uh I'm pretty sure I'll go ahead with RTX 2070 Super. I'm not really concerned about the extra that I have to pay for even if it's not the most cost and fps-effective option. I gotta live a little, I don't really have many other hobbies.
So anyway, from what I understand Corsair 460x case can...
Yeah I think watched a video of Linus setting up liquid cooling setup which I now know was open loop type like you said. He struggled a little bit and I was like there is no chance in hell that I could do that if THIS guy is getting little bit stumped. But at least for now, i won't have to...
