Has anyone tried Linux on the 14" Lafité® AI AMD?

What's the heat / fan-noise like on this model (when doing light work, and when under heavy load)? Also, what's the battery life like?

Not sure if you have tried, but what I would do is: Boot from a Manjaro KDE live CD, see if the audio works. Install "SOF Firmware", see if that works (I think it's sudo apt install firmware-sof-signed on Ubuntu). Package details here...

Do you know if "Runtime D3" (RTD3) is working on this model? Also, do you know if it's possible to run an external monitor with the Nvidia GPU powered down?

You could try installing https://www.sofproject.org/ - not sure how to do this on PopOS, should be easy enough to find out though.

I had similar issues on my Defiance II a while back. The workaround for me was to open the lid (which would start the laptop again, but with a black screen), then pressed ALT + CTRL + F2, then ALT + CTRL + F1. That would bring everything back to life. I now have a laptop with a Ryzen 7 4800H...
