Its running games. But I can't see any noticeable difference on my FPS on medium settings.
Also the screen on the side give me a readout of power consumption which seems to be fine
Hey guys , managed to get a 3070 a couple of days ago.
Its a double 8 pin power i belive.
So I swapped out my 2070 super and just popped in the same connections which were 8 and 6 via 1 power cable. (I think)
So can connect the power to the card via the 1 lead because its got 2 x 8 pins.
Or...
Hey hun.
Yeh the graphics are sitting around medium any way. I've tried various things like turning Ray tracing off etc.
Looks like I'll have to play the wating game and get a 3070/3080
Amen
Morning. Got myself a build around a month ago from pcs, with advice from a few well educated people on here.
Just wondering why when playing warzone and the new Call Of Duty I would be struggling with hitting high fps (144hz monitor)
Please see attached build spec
Cheers
Owen
Small update. Tried called this evening but was 19 in the queue at 7am lol....
Will try again tomorrow.
Played warzone for a couple of hours and temps seemed normal on the cpu so I suspect then cooler is working. But is still not being recognised by icue. Icue is definitely recognising...
when I've just spent £2500 English pounds i would expect the PC to come working and not have to consult the forums and take things apart within the first couple of hours. amen
Seems to be loads of people having the same problem.
I don't understand how my pc has been tested and checked. But these issues haven't been noticed...
Firstly do they not check to see that its all connected properly...
Secondly to they not stress test the GPU ?
If I noticed the "whine"...
One would presume the cooler is working but not talking to the controller? I'll give it an wiz on warzone tomorrow and see if the temps are OK
Cheers for all your help. I'm off to bed. Will report back tomorrow
Fair enough. Might have to send it back then. The problem is something I could live with BUT if its not right..... then they can fix it. I've paid for the top warranty option so should be all good
