It's genuinely mad what dust can do to a system, it must have been gumming up the fan motor or catching the fans on the housing due to the low clearance, ticking of a dream now. Thanks for the help Martin!

Oh I should specify that the problem was definitely there before I tried going at it with compressed air, it was one of the reasons I broke it out in the first place

I did try to give it a dust out not too long ago, the results were mixed with the compressed air that I used, a WD40 brand can. Do you think that could be causing the issue? Seems strange that it would only be on one side of the GPU but I can give it a go?

Oh I dont intend to make any changes from the spec unless something is glaringly incompatible, we're on day 2 of an expedited build so it's a little late. The only thing nagging me is if the cooling systems are going to be strong enough.
