Just to note for anyone finding this although only the first bunch of orders should be affected, i also had this issue and went through a number of thunderbolt and usb hubs before finding out it was a overheating issue. PCS sent me a heat pad that i installed and have not had a single issue...
Another retailer has posted about issues with their version of the recoil 4080/4090 and posted a bios that has apparently fixed the issue, i presume we may need a custom version of that bios so am just wondering if you have an eta of then it could be available? Some days it seems to be fine...
i have the 4090 version and was also getting the freeze issues (especially watching youtube), one thing i did notice and it might not be an issue with yours. The bios has a setting for office/gaming change it to gaming, mine was defaulted to office, which massively impacted the gpu performance...

Everything seems to be fine, had a couple of issues fitting a Samsung ssd into the dvd holder, and i must admit the blanking plate with "dvd writter" did confuse me at first.
Installed home...
