Hi all. Hope everyone is well.
Just a quick query. Whilst sit in pre-processing limbo for my 5000 series graphics card would be interested in views on having my secondary drive changed from the Corsair 4TB MP600 Pro to 4TB Crucial T705 (primary drive is a 1TB Crucial T705) which is now available...
Good suggestion :) . I did say to PCS that would take a look to see how the aesthetic looked (personally I am not bothered but certain family members are very bling orientated at the moment) and get one myself if needed.
That is interesting.... when I spoke with the sales team they said I would have to order a minimum of three RX120 fans - I couldn't have just one. That was pre-order mind so I might contact them again given I am no 53 in the 50 series queue (so will probably be getting my PC circa 2029) so...
Have been swayed by the 5000T. Comes with 3 icue fans (granted not the more recent rx120s) and factoring that in plus the extra led "fairy lights" the 5000T has got the vote (esp. from the teenage son). Between my wife and son I really don't get much choice....:ROFLMAO:
Alas the missus doesn't want it on the desk (don't ask why). So its going to live on the floor and need to be slimmer than the 6500X (which I still like). Ironically the 5000T is cheaper (as no pallet needed) than the 7000D and only needed to get one addition venting fan for the back. So all...
Great suggestions - thank-you! I am looking at squeezing the case onto the desk (there may be room after got the tape measure out!). See PCS offer the
CORSAIR 6500X TEMPERED GLASS MID TOWER DUAL CHAMBER CASE
and liked the fact you can add veneers which look pretty darn good. Any thoughts on the...
Hi all,
Inching closer to making a purchase. Going all guns for 5090 although seeing if the price point fluctuates down again (have been noting the marked variations).
Have revised the build below a little on basis of helpful prior advice. The 1st M.2 SSD drive is a bit of a place holder as...
I know this might be a "heretical" question - but what do people feel about the Scan 3xs systems vs. PCSpecialist?
Had a 3xs before (worked well) but I think pound for pound PCspecialist offer much better deals. Just curious and please don't feel the need to answer!
It does indeed. I wasn't initially convinced on RGB (being a person of a certain age) but my Wobkey Rainy keyboard has converted me and of course my teenage son has mandated that any new computer must come with lots of lights 😆
That is extremely helpful - just the advice I am needing. I am all for getting good stuff but want good value as well. I like Corsair SSDs and agree (again for the missus' very large photo collection) that may be 4TB secondary would be good. I worry also if I have a smallish second drive that...
Hi all,
I am looking to upgrade my ancient PC having sat on my hands for a bit.
I am waiting for the new 5000 series graphics card – no decisions made yet (waiting to see the reviews) on going for semi-skimmed (5070 Ti or 5080) or full fat (5090).
So graphics card is not included, for now...
