My Vortex II (With AMD 6990m) is about 8 months old and yesterday the screen randomly went blank while my wife was using it. After a reboot it got into windows for a short while but then went blank again. After that it would not even post.
It gets a bit further using an external monitor...
I've got a Vortex II with a 750gb HDD and a 240gb Kingston SSD, however the SSD is only running at SATA 2 (3gb/s) speed!
Any idea why this is and how to get it to run at full speed?
Can wait for it to be delivered! Going to destroy my old Dell Studio XPS 16 (and my old desktop!)
