Hello, I’ve recently bought a new pc but didn’t want to risk taking it down to uni so brought my old one which I will post full specs below. Upon setting this PC up on my desk and turning it on it just says ‘DisplayPort NO SIGNAL’ on my monitor. When I looked at my PC I saw an orange light on...
Okay, thank you! I'll have another look and make sure everything is connected properly but if it does the same I'll upload it to the technical forum. I had some difficulty when installing the rear fan so I may have accidentally knocked a cable loose though I tried to be as careful as I could...
Hello, this is my PC which took 13 working days to arrive after cancelling my previous 3060Ti order. I have since attached another Corsair LL120 fan to the rear of the case just because I felt it would be wiser to have 3 fans for inflow and 3 for out rather than 3 in 2 out. While setting up this...
Okay well thanks for the advice, I think I'll have a look into the 6700XT before deciding for sure. Best of luck with your build, and you have one lucky family member:LOL:
I'd like to use it on cyberpunk as long as my fps doesn't take a massive hit, but apart from that not many games I plan on playing have ray tracing. So for that do you think I'd be better suited with the 6700XT?
Okay now I feel more inclined to go for the 3070, mainly because I plan to have this PC for the next 3ish years so it'll hopefully keep up till then and I don't mind paying a bit extra for it. The only problem I have going for AMD GPUs is that they don't yet have an equivalent to NVIDIA's DLSS...
Okay thanks, I think I'll go for the 3060Ti since there isn't a great difference in fps for the much larger price. Then I'll put the extra money saved toward a new monitor.
Hello, I've posted on this forum before but have since changed my mind a few times on certain things. I initially went for a 3060ti and Ryzen 7 5800 but recently decided I don't need the extra cores the 5800 has since this is purely a gaming PC so I went for a 5600 instead.
This saved me around...
Okay, thank you for this, with the saved money I could even put it towards getting a 1440p monitor. One last question, do you have any idea as to when the 3060Ti will restock? Or is it just anyone's guess?
Sorry, I'm not sure how to post a link to my build as it'll only let me copy the specifications. I've tried to copy the URL which gives 'https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/amd-am4-overclocked/' but I imagine this will give you a different page as to mine.
My budget is around £2000 but I don't mind paying a little extra if need be. I'll most likely use the PC for mostly gaming or just watching stuff. I play a lot of CSGO but I play low settings/res to max FPS but would like to play games such as Cyberpunk 2077 and AC Valhalla. My current monitor...
