So with that in mind, would something like a decent Ryzen be a good start instead of the GPU? I could 'downgrade' the 5500 for a GTX1650 for the time being and get a B550 and maybe a 3600 or something like that?
So what do you reckon would be a good alternative? A Ryzen 5 3600? Or, with Covid ongoing, am I better off just getting something very, very budget and then revisiting higher specifications 1 year, year and a half down the line?
Probably the most intensive stuff will be some gaming, but only stuff I can't get on my PlayStation, so Crusader Kings 3, Forza Horizon 4 are probably the most demanding games. My monitor is right now just a TV, but I am going to try and get another monitor for Christmas, so am open to different...
