he shows them for the 5900x for cs, as its heavily cpu intensive. the gpu is for rdr2, msfs, rfactor, Assetto Corsa etc.

thanks for your insights, the rig will also be used for my work and for video editing/streaming. i checked benchmarks of what I wanted to play with these parts and I don't think I agree that the 3080 is overspend for 1080p. This is personal preference anyway, I'm not sure what you find...

yeah ive read the T&Cs. i ordered here again because it was cheaper than buying parts individually.

not enough to sate me brother. i also play other games but my eyesight has never made me want to jump to 2k. i enjoy the frame boost of 1080 :D

i wish i had the money to get all the trimmings, but yes as scott said the main attraction was getting the GPU and CPU at the price offered in December. the mobo can be upgraded when I'm more financially able, the loss in performance in the mean time is not something I will lose sleep over...
