Whilst you havent decided on a monitor yet, it would be nice to know what you are considering as the graphics card is usually determined by the monitor (in particular resolution and refresh rate) - assuming its gaming of course. You have selected a 3080 GPU which is mainly a 4k gaming or widescreen G9.

Is your £2k to include monitor?

What sort of games are you playing? Any other uses or just games?

These things would help one of the regulars give you a good build and value for money.

I've chosen a 3080 but im conflicted. Im mostly play games such as WZ and call of duty but would like to get into other FPS titles like valorant when i get my pc.

£2k is just for the pc, but i dont want to be paying excessive ammounts for a monitor

Its most likely best to go for a 1440p arrangement in which case, heres a build that @Martinr36 put together for someone earlier (a different case though so are you set on the case you picked?) but I will let him come in and advise on your current build and ask any more questions / advise you

for the extra £18 I'd go for the 1000W (its what i've got in "The Berserker"), as it gives greater headroom for upgrades over the life of the PC

980 is Gen 4 the 970 is Gen 3 and slower. Definitely 980
